MUNDUS VINI GmbH will be organising two wine tasting events a year as from 2014. Those who wish to take part may register their interest by 15 January 2014.
MUNDUS VINI GmbH is to begin the new year with a number of innovations. For the first time, two wine tasting events per year are to be organised as from 2014. Fittingly, these are to take place before the much heralded ProWein international fair in February and just before the autumnal season, in perfect keeping with tradition. “A number of requests from within the industry prompted us to organise a second event. In this way, entrants will be able to market wines bearing this coveted accolade, offering them to customers from their present vintage”, says Christoph Meininger, CEO of MUNDUS VINI GmbH.The premium quality of wines and the international renown of the competition are prized among consumers and producers alike. These new dates will enable winning wines to be presented at the international fair ProWein held in Düsseldorf and displayed on the famed MUNDUS VINI stand. Tank samples may also be sent for appraisal by our panel of judges. “This represents our response to the wishes of producers. Wines to be submitted for a prize may subsequently be bottled later in the year”, explains Susanne Bauer, responsible for organising the competition.
On 25 and 26 February 2014 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, wines from across the globe are once again to be tasted and evaluated by a jury made up of members from around the world. Samples may be registered for the competition until 15 January 2014.
Thanks to both European Union recognition and enthusiastic acceptance on the part of international consumers, MUNDUS VINI has by popular acclaim become one of the leading international wine competitions in the space of just a few years. It is not only the medals, all of which have undergone a rigorous selection procedure, that provide enticement for producers. Special awards like “Best dry white wine”, “Best dry red wine”, “European producer of the year” and “Importer of the year” are distinctions much sought after in the international wine trade.
You may register your entries online at www.meiningers-weinsuche.com/webpass . The final deadline for sending in samples is 15 January 2014. An entry fee of 140 EUR is required for every sample submitted.
