With over 3,700 expected exhibitors from around 50 countries, ProWein 2012, from 4 to 6 March, will once again provide a unique comprehensive reflection of the international wines and spirits market. In addition to the traditional winegrowing nations from Europe and overseas, exotic winegrowing countries such as Brazil, India, and for the first time Kosovo, are also presenting themselves. Around 300 international spirits suppliers are showing a sophisticated, high-quality mix consisting of tried-and-tested classics, regional-specific delicacies and exceptional new products. by Richard Woodard – Retired Chinese basketball star Yao Ming is returning to his homeland – with a 2009 Napa Valley 
Cabernet Sauvignon launched under his name.
The company said the grapes for the inaugural Yao Ming 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from ‘prestigious Napa Valley vineyards with a reputation for excellent fruit’.
It added that the final blend was chosen from selected barrels, with all the wine aged for at least 18 months in French oak.
